FAQs — EcoFlow 400W Portable Solar Panel (SOLAR400W)

Q: Are portable solar panels effective?

Answer: Portable solar panels are an extremely effective, clean, and renewable way to charge a portable power station. EcoFlow 400W portable solar panels have a larger wattage than typical solar panels and are more efficient due to their monocrystalline cells. Spring up to three 400W portable solar panels and use with a DELTA Pro portable power station for input of 1600W. Additionally, EcoFlow portable power stations use an MPPT algorithm that ensures a constant energy supply. Unlike static solar panels, portable solar panels are easily moved and adjusted depending on where the sun is in the sky.

Q: Where do you place portable solar panels?

Answer: Positioning portable solar panels at an angle between 30-45 degrees, facing the direction of the sun, is best. EcoFlow portable solar panels have a built-in stand that can be adjusted, depending on where the sun is in the sky.

Q: Which solar panels are best for camping?

Answer: Solar panels that are portable, foldable, and lightweight are the best kind for camping. Pair one with a portable power station and string up to 4 together for immediate power that is clean, green, and renewable.

I am very impressed with the Echoflow foldable solar panels. Well made, meets or exceed all specs. I like that the panels are built for the Echflo pro product and I don't have to gerry-rig 3rd party solutions..Be aware that they are soldi built which makes them heavier than other similar panels.....just goes with the territory if you want quality..........In-addition.....I am always impressed with the customer support EchoFlow provides....I know I can always get an answer to my questions either through customer support line or the EcoFlow Delta Series Group, face book page ..I highly recommend all of the Echflow product and anxiously waiting for new products that can augment my home power needs.....thank you very much!

Ordered it as soon as it became in stock again. Took a while as it shipped from Hong Kong. Packaging was damaged but luckily the panels were not. The panels are heavier than I thought they would be. Works very well to recharge a standard delta unit - generating max of 200w by lying flat in morning sunlight. Took about 1 hour to go from 86% to 100%.

Worth every penny. This solar panel has changed the way I use my EcoFlow max. amazing working art. It even gives me 370 watt in day cloudy day. My generator is always 95-100 topped up. During the day. Just need a little bit of light and they power up. Highly recommend. I don’t get paid for this survey and not sponsored. My personal experience. They deserve 5 star. I ordered my 2nd 400 watt panel.

The so-called ‘stand’ is the flimsy carrying case, a joke! It does not supprt the panels evenly and hardly at all. The directions are an equal failure. For the price and the EcoFlow quality guaranty one should expect something substantial and functional, which I would most likely pay extra for….Upon my enquiry, I was informed that the senior advisor suggested using ‘something else’ to support the panels. We own a Delta pro, extra battery and a 160 watt panel, plus wiring accessories.

I hear that EcoFlow is working on a better stand solution for this. Hopefully it will either be free for those who have already purchased the 400W panel or very inexpensive since I have already paid $1199 for this.
