Proven to be tried and true

We’ve been using our electrical setup for over 4 years living mostly off the grid, but also in campgrounds, friends’ driveways, and even at farms and wineries. We get around. And now we’ve setup shop permanently on our off-grid desert homestead using the same system day in and day out. We started out with a Samlex PST 1000W Inverter and upgraded to a 2000W a few years later so we could run our new Vitamix. They have always provided rock solid power, and protected us when we did stupid stuff like try to run appliances that were too powerful or kept tripping when we wired a new 120V plug backwards.

I haven’t swapped the batteries, inverter/charger or charge controller and it’s been working like a dream. It wasn’t the cheapest option, but we had inverters before that just couldn’t keep up with the commercial use. Samlex was a true game-changer and would allow us our green footprint.

Months of research came down to Samlex which had the qualifications I was looking for with performance and robustness. The EVO-2224 has been running straight for over two years, never has been turned off; it works beautifully! It has powered a Bosch water heater, Chef washing machine, 10 Cu. Ft top freezer Refrigerator, percolator coffee pot, regular iron, vacuum, microwave, even a Senville mini-split AC unit. We have a self filtration system for the washer which uses 20 gallons of water to complete 9 loads of laundry which is powered by the EVO when off-grid in the desert or mountains. There’s nothing said I can’t have all the comforts of home when off-grid, which is made possible by the Samlex EVO-2224.
