FAQs — EcoFlow 110W Portable Solar Panel (EFSOLAR110N)

Q: How do I get the most solar power?

Answer: Increase the efficiency of your solar panel by facing it directly at the sun without any obstructions. Remember to be careful when handling your solar panel because damaged cells provide less power.

Q: Does it charge if it’s inside?

Answer: Yes, if the only thing between it and the sun is transparent, but it won’t charge as well compared to being outside. You can compare the difference by looking at the input section of your power station’s LCD screen.

I bought my Delta in 2020 and through most of that summer I used the Delta to power the fan in my bedroom during the night. So I was setting up the solar panel in my back yard four or five mornings a week.I guess setting up and taking down so often was too much for it. Last spring when I wanted to resume daily use I found one of the cables connected to the panel had come out. So this 300.00 solar panel is now useless. The Delta is fully charged, waiting for the next power Outage. I did use it to keep my refrigerator running one night when the power was out for a few hours. Very satisfied with that.

Great product!!! Since the first test shows 38% input 2 hours before sunset. I’m really happy with the efficiency.

Fairly good quality but not enough attention to detail. The design used to angle the panel is flawed and difficult to maintain an angle without the panel slipping and using carabiners to clip on panel is just lazy. The output cables are mounted so that the are always on the front side of the panel which is fine if you will always lay the panel flat but clumsy when the panel is tilted. Never seen close to 110 w out of this panel. We know that max wattage is under Perfect lab conditions but the reality is this puts out 70 to 80 watts in the real world. Will definitely try a different rand for next purchase.

It's my first solar panel so I don't know what to compare it to, but I can say it is very nice quality. Seems very durable, comes in a nice carrying case, folds up perfectly and zips up in the case. First use on a sunny day in mid afternoon I was generating 102 watts into the ecoflow Delta. I like that it's waterproof also. I really look forward to taking advantage of this free energy source to power the many items I have tested my Delta 1300 with when the need arises. It may be more expensive than other solar panels but I wanted to make sure everything worked flawlessly and that's exactly what I got.

The panel works well and so does the tilting stand, so long as the angle isn't too large. Some sort of a velcro mechanism might be helpful to prevent slipping out when windy. I'd also like to see the panel carry case include a large external zipper pocket that could be used for cables and such. As it is I have to transport my River, this solar panel, and then another carry case with cables and adapters. Just a thought to consider.
