Big vs. Small

I have many generators. One is 18 hp,but in the end, long term survival this alp is the one. It will keep the freezers and frig cold, my furnace going, my small ac going while sipping on a 100 lbs bottle for weeks. This is my second one I would highly recommend this unit before buying a whole house unit that goes through a 100lbs in a day

No hassle, no fuss. Propane power is a must.

I have a Yamaha 2400 w generator that I converted to propane. It weighs about 80lbs so it is my home backup generator. I decided that I wanted a lighter generator to take with me when I go outdoors for camping and other activities. I am by no means a \"we must go electric fanatic\". Gasoline-powered vehicles are great because you use them fairly frequently so fuel doesn't sit with a chance to degrade and gum up carburetors. But items that are used sporadically always require more maintenance because of jets being clogged or float bowls getting stuck. In the case of generators, you use them when the power goes out and want them to function right then and there. Since switching to propane powered generators, I have had 100% reliability with very little maintenance requirements, check the oil. No more winterizing or having to drain carburetors if being stored for long periods of time. Propane is just as available as gasoline and since Alps generators can run off 1lb cylinders that negates any arguments about fuel availability. This generator goes in the back of my jeep and I use it to recharge my ebikes, onewheel and other items while in backcountry. Having power available from such a lightweight package is invaluable. Very well built

I am very impressed with the build quality of this inverter generator. It's lightweight and very quiet. One of the many reasons why I bought this, is it runs off of propane which can run up to 60 hours on a 20lbs tank. I look forward to using it for many years to come.
